April 9 -Workshop. Badge & Medals Workshop. Bring your glue guns and any parts and pieces that would look good as part of a badge or medal.
April 16 - Instead of a book to read, we're going to watch some movies and compare them! On your own, go watch some Jules Verne movies (some are posted on the main blog page) and be thinking about how they compare, what styles were used for the films, interpretation of the stories, etc etc. You can watch some different films or different versions of the same film. It's up to you. Also look for parodies.
April 23 - Meeting on the Golden Days Parade Float. We need to figure out how much we're going to need to build the float. Come with ideas.
April 30 - Meeting.
May 7th - Meeting.
Excursion to Kern - May? - Three day trip (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) down to Anchorage, Kern, and Whittier. Exploring Kern (ghost town) and Whittier in steampunk style. Contact group for a four-page *.doc file on the trip.
